I never thought I would enjoy having a backyard garden as much as I do. Yesterday, for the first time this summer, I sat out back and just enjoyed the great weather and the beauty of God’s creation.

Lately I’ve been evaluating what I am doing (or not doing) to be healthy. As things have been getting busier, the quality of my meals goes down. There is not a whole lot of thought over what I have for dinner or lunch.
In an effort to be healthier and have more energy, I’m going to try eating raw for at least two meals a day. I really don’t know much about eating raw, but I’ve been checking out some blogs and other resources to see exactly what counts as “raw”. I figure spring and summer are the best times to try it with all of the delicious fresh veggies and fruit at Central Market.
These pictures inspired me from Angela Hardison’s blog.
I’d love to get some tips on eating raw – let me know if you have any great recipes or cookbooks to suggest.
College was such an amazing time in my life and I met some of the most amazing people on the planet! Ashley and I met our first week as freshmen and became instant friends. Ashley is one of those people who radiates life and energy, and has a huge heart. After moving to Philly for grad school, she met a lovely boy named Thomas. Fast forward a couple of years and here they are now planning their August 7th wedding.
I have the honor of designing their wedding stationery. Last month the save the dates were sent out and now I’m in the midst of working on their wedding invitation.
Check out their engagement shoot with Seth Shimkonis Photography.
Cranberry, seafoam and warm gray create a modern color palette with a twist of traditional. I love the unexpected nature of these colors.
I love love. And I also love weddings, photography and design. Designing wedding albums is a natural fit for me. There is nothing greater than watching one of the most important days in someone’s life unfold through photos.
I do three different style of wedding album designs:
1. Oneleven Signature Design
2. Color Block Design
3. Rich and Layered Design
Having three types of designs to choose from makes it so your album design suites your bride and groom perfectly.
Here are some samples of my Rich and Layered Wedding Album Design.
Love and Some Verses – Iron & Wine
Love and some verses you hear
say what you can’t say
love to say this in your ear,
“I’ll love you that way”
from your changing contentments,
what will you choose for to share?
someday drawing you different,
may I be weaved in your hair?
